Did anybody else notice today that the games within the videos don't have the number of times you have played that game. I have always used that as a tool in knowing what games I have and haven't played without having to go out of the video to find out. I hope they replace it.

Still looking to expand my chat partners, but to meet IN PERSON at a cafe. I live in Irvine, Ca. Presently, I meet with 2 chat partners, and meet with a Spanish chat group that I started a little over 10 years ago, also here in Irvine.Ca. Additionally, for the past 3 years, twice a week I teach my 88 year old Dad Spanish. Really great for Dad's brain. I say gently, I am not interested in a beginner, but rather an intermediate-advanced learner. Also, and again gently, no children please. Adult, retired or not, just fine. If someone from this Yabla community, also lives here in Irvine, Ca., or close by, and has interest in meeting face to face at a coffee shop, once a week for an hour or so, I will leave my email for contact to arrange a meetup. Again, not interested in online, Zoom, etc., only in person. My data:I am a female and retired, and committed to improving my fluency in this beautiful language. Email address: [email protected]

Have not yet been able to attend a webcast Yabla session. I have been actively learning Spanish for 15 years, and continue to challenge myself with art history and geographic videos, courtroom drama( Caso Cerrado, La corte del pueblo, La sala de parejas, etc.) all via YOUTUBE. That said, the Yabla videos are fine, but for advance learners, they could be much more challenging.

It would be great if on the Fluency Club exercises we could see before starting what country they are from. Anyone else thrown by "vos" conjugations in today's advanced exercise? Once I figured out that this was Argentinian I was in a bit better shape. Interestingly, there seems to be a show by the same name from Mexico but I'm pretty sure this is the Argentinian one. Good practice once I know what I'm listening to!

I'm just a beginner, but I listened in on the Feb 26, 2026 meetup - intermediate. It was fun, because people had stories to tell. I learned that two participants, Linda and Marianne, are both cyclists. That's kind of exciting. So I hope to hear more about your adventures and trips (I like cycling, too). There was lots of talk about swimming and boats, too, because of the video. I took a few notes, and noticed there were some doubts about barco or barque, and so I looked that up. In general, barco is a large boat or ship, and bote is a small watercraft. This might change from region to region. I wasn't sure if Constanza knew the word "capsize," and I didn't catch the Spanish word for it. I looked it up: volcarse. There was a doubt about viente or viento. Viento. It was tricky when Constanza, after asking the same question to several people, then asked a new one. People were thinking of how to answer the previous question when all of a sudden, there was a different one. Maybe we need a warning or something: "New question/topic!" or "Let's talk about organizing the trip." Sometimes the hardest thing is understanding the question (at every level). People talked about jubilado, which sounded like jubilated to me. I was tickled to learn it meant retired. I wonder if a conversation on this chat could be interesting: What I learned in the meetup and what threw me for a loop... We're all in this together.

I'm curious what others are doing for order of the exercises in Fluency Club. I change this up every now and then and recently have been doing Watch-Review-Speak-Scribe-Revo-Parrot, but I've started moving Parrot up higher in the rotation. I'm not at all stuck on this order and have done it several different ways changing my logic fairly regularly. Does anyone else play with the order here, or just do them in the order presented?

Is there any way to filter Strategic Review to only show Speak and Parrot? That is where I need the most work. Thanks.
